For the past 49 years, Baptist Health Care has been committed to providing quality health care services in Pensacola, northwest Florida and south Alabama. Today, we are the region's largest health care provider with more than 5,000 dedicated employees; five hospitals totaling approximately 800 beds; and the area's largest primary care group involving 45 primary care physicians at 25 locations.

 

Additional services include a 24-hour emergency trauma center with the region's only Life Flight helicopter ambulance service, behavioral medicine services, rehabilitation services and physician practice management services. The Kugelman Cancer Center at Baptist Hospital has the most comprehensive and innovative cancer program in the northwest Florida/south Alabama area. Baptist Health Care also owns and operates a 170-bed nursing home and a 56-acre life care retirement community, which consist of 283 independant apartments and a 106-bed licensed health care center.
